 At Femcare OB-GYN, we are sensitive to the concerns and apprehensions of young women who are beginning to learn about reproductive health. As per the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG)  guidelines, the initial visit for screening and the provision of reproductive preventive health care services and guidance should take place between the ages of 13 years and 15 years old. During a young woman’s first visit, the gynecologist will screen for menstrual and developmental issues and address topics such as breast health, sexual activity, and birth control. We will help explain the changes happening to their bodies, how to stay healthy, and what to expect as they mature.
